Smokeless Indoor Grills work like a charm!
Sometimes I’m just too lazy to fire-up an outdoor grill when I want to cook something quick and easy. This is where every kitchen needs and indoor smokeless grill.These units really help out, especially when you need to whip up a fast and healthy weeknight meal.
These things are really easy to find in stores like Target and Walmart, but I think the selection is better online. This is where you’ll get really every type of grill offered under one roof. With so many styles and prices, you just need to see which one fits your needs.
Some of the more popular brands are: Krups, Calphalon, Westbend, Cuisinart, Delonghi, Wolfgang Puck and the famous George to name a few. Each of these indoor grills utilizes the convenience of ease of use, quick cleanup, compact sizing and quick meal turnaround from grill to table.
Some models have just a griddle base to cook the food on one side at a time, while others have two heating surfaces; one on top and one on the bottom that cook the food twice as fast and give good grill marks. some have glass covers to grill and bake at the same time and there’s even a Table Top Grill/ broiler.
These grills range in price from 15 dollars to 3oo dollars. You can imagine there’s a indoor grill for every purpose. From the smallest, simplest stovetop unit you place over a burner to full-blown stainless steel industrial strength mega grills that do everything but wash your dog.
I like the fact that it clean up so easy. There’s no need to run the sink and scrub greasy pans anymore, when most of these grills have removable plates that slide right into the dishwasher. Some have a little drip basin to catch all the liquids that come off the food. Just empty the liquids and drop that along with the other two heating plates into the dishwasher and you’re done with cleanup. Most have non-stick surfaces too which makes cleanup a breeze.
You may have purchased one a long time ago only to be disappointed in it’s performance. These smokeless indoor grills have come a long way: even heating distribution, easier cleanup, timers, thermostat’s and upscale design features that really make these grills part of the new kitchen landscape. So out with the toaster-oven, in with the versatility of the tabletop grill.
Recipes are easy to translate. You just cook all the foods according to degree of doneness you want. For vegetables, cook until they’ve got grill marks on them and for meats, use your thermometer and the guidelines you’d normally use for cooking meat.
