How to keep a bon-fire going in a pit?
i have a copper fire pit and constantly have fires in them..but they always die out in under like 2 hrs. how can i prevent this i have
Lighter Fluid
Charcoal
Fatwood(wood fire starter)
Chemical Fire starters
and a bunch of logs
How should i build it to keep it lasting longer? and what should i add while its going on
Try putting a few holes in the bottom of it, so it can suck air in from underneath. Fire needs oxygen to burn. Look at some charcoal stoves and notice the vents on the bottom. If you close them, the fire dies, open it up all the way and it will get large. Of course this assumes you have something to burn in the fire pit like wood, but I hope you know that is needed.
