Can 17 year olds drink in quebec bars with adult present?
Or at any 18+ bar. I’m going to be 18 in a month when we get to Canada, but that probably counts for nothing. My sister is 23 and wants to go bar hopping with me. We might go to Quebec and I was wondering if she was present, I could atleast go inside the bar. And if I could go inside, could I drink? Or would they just be cool with me only going inside without drinking? Because if they’d let me in, I would just pregame.
Underage drinking by 16-17 year olds under parental supervision is permitted in Manitoba and under parental supervision in a residence or a temporary residence in Alberta. In British Columbia, only children of the supervising parents, not any other minors such as guests, are allowed underage drinking. Consumption of alcohol in another person’s home is subject to other laws.
