Grill won’t ignite…?
I have propane grill out on the patio. It’s probably about 5 years old and getting quite rusty at some places.
Last night I wanted to do some BBQ, but it would just not light up. The propane is coming out out but the sparker wouldn’t ignite it.
I gave it a try several try, but after 30 seconds I always shut it off, because I was afraid that it propane in the air was too much and burn me or even worse just blow up.
Is it possible to blow up the propane tank this way? It just seems like a rusty old thing and I’m just not comfortable with all that propane gas and stuff.

the igniter is the first thing to go on the grills. there is a hole on the right side usually where you can stick a grill starter type lighter in, then turn the gas on and it will ignite, be sure the grill is open though. the igniters require batteries so maybe that is all you need . just unscrew the knob on the front of the grill and replace the batteries.
